 | ADIRONDACK ARTS         ![Visit The Adirondack Store]() | Because
of its natural beauty, the Adirondacks offer a rich and wonderful setting for
the arts providing inspiration to countless painters, writers and musicians from
around the world. Each year, a unique celebration of the arts occurs as spring
comes to the Adirondacks and the winter snows give way to warm alpine days. Beginning
in June, the annual Festival of the Lakes brings well known artists together from
across North America for three exciting days of continuous theatre, dance, music,
and fine arts. This unique celebration is modeled after the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
and takes place in the Saranac Lake region of Franklin county. In Saratoga
Springs, the famed Saratoga Performing Arts Center kicks off its summer season
with an exciting roster of nationally recognized artist and entertainers. We
invite you to sample the many unique Adirondack festivals, concerts, theatre productions
and craft fairs taking place this season and featured in our on-line Arts &
Crafts calendar. Enjoy your visit!!
